The Review: (Remember!!! its’ a 360 Deg Review)
· The Plan
Yesterday I was going by UFO, when all of a sudden I thought of going for a movie.
As I had watched Beawolf and Kingdom, I thought I will go for “The Messenger”.
· Plan in Execution
I got down in front of E-Square (UFO dropped me over there). I went straight to
the ticket counter and bought ONE ticket. I went inside the hall and took my
seat. As expected, the theatre was half empty (Yah, yah…I am a pessimist).
Tragedy!!! Two guys sat on either side. Now I had to watch the movie...No other go!!!!
· The Movie
It’s another GHOST movie. The movie was totally PREDICTABLE. No surprises
at all. The gal, the woman, and the man… everyone keeps screaming (aaa-ooo—aaa).
At one point of time I thought of coming out of the theatre, but “my precious”, 120 kept
me seated.
I don’t feel ashamed to say, I felt a bit afraid. (Yah..Man Yah…I am afraid of ghosts).
The guy sitting on my right, kept on drinking water from his bottle. And the dude sitting
on my left kept talking to his buddy. I neither had water bottle, nor any friends to crack joke.
I was all alone – tortured by GHOSTS.
“Mommy I promise, I will never ever watch any Ghost movies again”
I like the gal -“Jess” Kristen Stewart. (Born September 1990, April. Need to see whether
our horoscope matches or not :D. Mommy, Congratulations !!!) She has done a great job.
Her character is too afraid of ghosts, but still (don’t know why) she goes for ghost hunting
and scream and scream and scream….and screammmtt!!!
There is nothing much to tell about other actors. They have done a good job
It looks like a low budget movie. All that they needed was two big houses, a
huge farm land (with sunflowers). They didn’t use (any/much) special effects.
I am confused!! Why there are 4 producers and 4 co-producers?
Mommy!!! At the end of the movie, I learnt that we should not be afraid of ghosts.
They are our friendly neighborhoods. They helped Jess and her parents in getting rid of a maniac.
I heard the Crow saying “Daddy...dadda”, in the end. Or was that just an illusion (aftereffect of the movie)!!!!
It got over in exactly 1.5 hrs. i.e. 120/- for 90 minutes. My Xth standard calculations say, its 1.33 Rs. Per minute.
“My Precious” time and “My Precious” money.
Okay, for those who still didn’t understand what the movie is all about, here is a quick summary.
A family moves to a house. The house is haunted. There are lots of ghosts. They (ghosts) kill the villain.
Huh!!! Forget to say….One more thing… Jess should be nominated for the academy awards. Cho chweet!!!
My ratings
Movie :1/5
Theatre:3/5
Jess: 5/5
